National Night Out

National Night Out will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Lexington’s City Square. (604 Wheatley St.) Residents throughout Lexington are asked to come down to the Square and enjoy an evening outside with Neighbors, Local Law Enforcement Agencies, Firefighters, EMS Medics, Civic Groups, Officials from our Community and County, City Personnel and Businesses from around Lexington and through-out the County. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes Police Community partnerships and Neighborhood camaraderie to make Lexington a safer, better place to live. Thanks to many Community partnerships, NNO event is free of charge to residents and their children. Please accept our invitation to come join the fun, food and games. Thank you to the City employees that worked throughout the night to keep the City running as smoothly as possible. Please remember if you are not getting the notifications, it requires signing up. As you gear up for 4th of July celebrations, remember, fireworks are not allowed within City Limits. This is especially important as we are currently in a drought and still under a Burn Ban. Please call the Lee County Sheriff's Department at 979-542-2800 to report any outdoor burning or discharge of fireworks within City Limits.

City Hall will be closing at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Weather permitting we will open at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022. To pay your bill, please visit our website www.cityoflexingtontx.com or call 1-888-507-3442. There is also a drop box located behind City Hall and one located on the building along Third Street.
