Municipal Court Calendar & Dress Code
The City of Lexington's Municipal Court recognizes the need to ensure the health and safety of litigants, attorneys, visitors, court staff, judges, and other individuals entering the buildings housing the courts. You must contact the municipal court in writing within 10 days from the date of the citation.

Courtroom Conduct:
- No use of tobacco products
- No chewing gum
- No excessively short pants or bare midriffs
- No caps/hats while in Courtroom
- Cell phones/electronics must be on silent
- No offensive clothing
- No eating in courtroom
- No noise or talking that interferes with court proceedings
The City of Lexington Municipal Court Calendar:
Municipal Court is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Municipal Court is closed from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch and on official holidays, State required training and during declared disasters/emergency situations.
