FLOOD WATCH issued by the National Weather Service for Bastrop, Lee, Uvalde, Medina, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Caldwell Counties. August 22 @ 1:58 p.m. through August 24 @ 1 p.m. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are forecasted to develop this afternoon and tonight. Heavy rains are forecast for Tuesday afternoon and evening and into Wednesday morning. Rainfall rates of 2-3" per hour are possible. IMPACT--Excessive runoff and heavy rainfall may result in flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
Turn Around, Don't Drown.
Monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
Those living in flood-prone areas be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
