Lexington's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Lexington's annual Pioneer Festival of Lights will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Lexington Log Cabins and Heritage Center. The event will begin at 5pm with Santa arriving at about 5:45pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask and social distance.

Free COVID-19 Testing For Our Community

Free COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) testing is coming to our community on Thursday, June 25th at the Woodson Community Center, 631 North Rockdale Street. Testing will be conducted from 10 AM to 7 PM. No appointment is necessary.  For more information you may contact Lexington City Hall at 979-773-2221.

Dear Lexington Residential Water Customer

Lexington Residents: If you are a City of Lexington water customer, you will be receiving a survey from Taylor Office Products. As the letter explains, this survey is required by the Texas Water Development Board in order to qualify for a grant for a new water well. The current well that services the majority of the city's customers has only 8-10 years of life left. Please do us all a favor and fill this survey out and send it back in the envelope provided. This survey will not be seen by any City employees and will be sent directly to our grant writers. The survey information includes your address but does not require you to list any residents names. They survey has three question. Each have to be anwsered. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call City Hall. Please share this information with your neighbors. If you did not receive a survey, we have uploaded one to the website that you may print out and mail back.
